Can no longer share Word docs

All of a sudden, when I want to share a Word doc and so click on "share" in Word, nothing happens. No email pops up automatically with the attached doc in it, just needing an email address for the person I'm trying to send it to.

Why can't recipients of my shared iCloud doc links open my Numbers and Keynote files? I just software updated to Monterey. But this issue was happening about 6 hours ago, prior to updating to Monterey. Although I set up my documents for anyone with link can access file, nobody could open the files with the mailed link or the url itself. It just got worse, as now, I see that all the documents that were shared in my Numbers folder no longer share. The collaboration (green) just went grey on all my files. I could actually see this happening real time. See attachments below. Would appreciate everyone's help to figure this out. It is very problematic, as I depend on sharing with my clients.
