Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 Just installed and now my mouse cursor keeps disappearing and the text in MS Outlook and Safari looks faint and/or broken

Not sure if there is going to be a fix for this problem. I just installed the Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 and it took over an hour! Since the install, my mouse cursor keeps disappearing. Also, the text in MS Outlook, Safari and iTunes looks faint and/or broken. Any others out there have this issue or know why it's happening and how to fix it? Thanks in advance for any assistance here.

Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time. You may need to do this 2-3 times.

Reset NVRAM/PRAM

Try a SMC reset. The article covers when this is required, but doing this will not affect anything.

Reset SMC

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply.
