CoScreen Recording failed to save

I get this message when using Screen Recording,

Screen Recording failed to save do to:

The operation couldn’t be completed.

(Cocoa error -1.)

With the iOS 12 update, my iPhone became fast again and worked almost like new! Since then, however, it has (once again) slowed down significantly and become almost inoperable due to lag.

Any insight or advice as to how I can deal with this would be really helpful and greatly appreciated.

Try going to settings > general > profiles, and remove any profiles there. FORCE RESTART your phone

TO Force Restart:

iphone 6S PLUs and earlier- hold down home button + power button for a few seconds until the phone restarts ( IGNORE the “slide to power off” prompt. )

iphone 7 and 7 plus- hold volume down and power for appx 7 seconds

iphone 8- iphone xs max models-

press and quickly release the volume up, press and quickly release the volume down, then press and hold the side sleep/ wake button until the phone restarts, again ignoring the prompt “ slide to power off “ prompt on screen)

I was having this problem yesterday, and this resolved my issue

i get the same thing. if only an apple employee would shed some light to this, because i lost 15 minutes of footage i was planning to work with.

I was recording fortnite and got really good footage, but it said cocoa error-1 and I lost it all

I think the app part of this is because the phone is older and can’t install the new updates intended for X and 8

Thanks, @BeachBummin’. This is enlightening. Nevertheless, Apple could definitely provide a different error notification from what’s system failure to what is copyright protection...

I have got the same problem too, you guys say to restart it it helps but who’s gonna find back my screen record 30 fcking minutes of footage. Apple better faster fixed this i got it again today.

I have restarted the iPad
I have memory
Cleared browser history

Still get the same **** issue :/

I record video and the phone said error please fix it. I do video to YouTube and that does help me🙄
