I just bought a Sony Bravia xbr-70x830F and it won't recognize my apple tv
is this compatible what are the steps to fix it ? Reads no signal

Is the Apple TV powered (you would see a white light)?
Make sure you are using a premium HDMI cable rated for 18gbps and that it is secure
For 4K 60hz you would need to use port 2 or 3
