Sim not supported

i bought an iPhone off of eBay and when I put my SIM card into it it shows a screen that says “Sim Not Supported” I contacted my carrier and they told me to ask apple. I would really appreciate anyone’s help

You need to contact the carrier that the phone is locked to, only they can potentially unlock it for use on other carriers.

(And you are not talking to Apple on these user forums, we are just fellow users.)
