Disable bluetooth microphone.

I just bought a bluetooth adapter for my bose qc25 and noticed the microphone on the adapter is terrible. On windows I can just disable the mic and continue using it as a headphone. I believe it's possible (but more difficult) on Android but I haven't found a way to do this with my iPhone.

If it's not possible to do with software I wouldn't mind just breaking out the mic if it would work. I however don't see a way to open the adapter.
