USB SuperDrive
I just purchased a MacBook (not pro) and I would like to buy the Apple USB SuperDrive, However, I am not sure if it will work with my Macbook. I know that I would need to purchase the adapter but I am unsure if it is compatible.

If it has USB-C ports (and your doubt is here, I assume) I can confirm that with an UBC-C to USB2-3 adapter, it does work. Never tried to boot from it, though (thinking at booting from utilities such as Disk Warrior...)
