I want to transfer data from a 2007 MacBook 13" (Ethernet, Firewire 400, USB 2) to a mid 2015 MacBook Pro 15" (Thunderbolt 2, USB 3, HDMI) using Migration Manager. Is there a suitable cable?

thanks for your suggestion. The problem is that only the 2007 MacBook
has USB 2.0. Is this compatable with USB 3 on the mid 2015 MacBook.
Please excuse the question if it is dumb but I know virtually nothing
about computers - I switch it on and it works 🙂

It may be USB2.0 if you use Migration assistant.
