I want to update my iPhone 4 to iOS 8 please help

The iPhone 4 can not be upgraded beyond iOS 7.1.2.

The reason for why it cannot update to iOS 8 is simply because the hardware is to outdated to support the new software.

practically speaking updates these days can take atleast 3 gigs worth of data.
