How to block email addresses from texting me on iPhone

Another option would be to go into Settings > Messages > and then toggle "filter unknown senders" on. This will create a folder full of messages from people who you do not have a contact for.

Hello,

If you would like to block an email address from texting you can go to Settings > Messages > Blocked > Then scroll down and click on “add new...” . You should make a contact for the email address tht you are trying to block. This is because once you click add new in settings you can select that contact to block.
