How to get rid of us-u.openx.net pop up on Mac Air

How can I get rid of us-u.openx.net pop up on my MacAir. I'm willing to invest in a 'cleanup system' if you'd recommend one.

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Thankyou for your suggestion. Since I am totally inept at all things digital, I will obviously need to go to someone

to walk me through this process. But thanks anyway. Sadly I'm really not nearly literate enough to be in this community.

Go to Safari Preferences/Extensions and turn all extensions off. Test. If okay, turn the extensions on one by one until you figure out what extension is causing the problem.
