player.dmg accidently downloaded but didn't open it, am I safe?

As I was downloading something, something called "Player.dmg" automatically downloaded onto my Apple MacBook (I have a 15-inch with retina display). I didn't open it, and automatically sent it to the trash, which I then emptied. As I didn't open the file, will I be safe from any viruses/malware on my mac?

Accidentally opened a malicious dmg but did not run the installer. I accidentally downloaded a shady dmg. I wanted to delete it but instead accidentally clicked on it. I did not run the installer app, but simply ejected the disk and deleted the dmg. Could I have potentially been infected with any malware or am I safe since I didn't open the app inside the dmg. Mac Media Update Dear All, You all might be aware of the Mac Media Update Pop-up which comes up sometimes. I came to face one and in my dumbest moments, I accidentally clicked on download on the popup. BUT I deleted the downloaded (.dmg) file at the same time. I didn't open the (.dmg) file and download the program into my Mac. Can a computer still be hacked even if I don't download it? My question now is whether my computer could be at a potential risk of hijack? Since then I have deleted the downloaded (.dmg) file, cleared my safari history and have checked in different places whether there is any sort of malware hidden, but couldnt find any.

installed fake adobe flash file So I was trying to get opifine for minercaft and downloaded the wrong file by the name of install.dmg. At the time I thought it was the right one and so downloaded it. Turns out it was not and it was a fake adobe flash file. My MacBook Air m1 running big Sur 11.3.1 now starts up in like 30 seconds when before it started up In less that 15 seconds, and when I press the command+shift+5 keys (which allows me to take a screen shot or record my screen), it takes like 5 seconds for the little tool bar to show up when before I downloaded this fake flash file it took less than 1 second. its been over a bit less than 1 week and a half since I downloaded this. Is there anything I can do to remove it? I tried many antivirus apps and had run scans on avast and like 4 other popular anti virus apps for Mac including clean my Mac x.
