2 iPhones with different weather info

So I have a iPhone 7 company phone and iPhone X personal phone for the same location there pulling slightly different weather information. One says 20% rain the other phone says 30% one phone says 36F low the other says 37F low and again both phones are pulling same location why would this happen? Also I’ve noticed both phones are never even close to accurate on data. I’ll look at app at 10PM and it says rain then wake up at 7am and It says no rain all day or vice versa. The app just seems totally unreliable.

Hi 0itouch_man0,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand you're seeing different information in the Weather app on two devices.

It sounds like the information reported is varying slightly by a few degrees. You mentioned that the iPhone 7 is a company phone. If your device has any company or managed profiles, that may be why you're seeing a difference. There's a possibility that VPN or other aspects of the configuration could affect the exact location the weather is reporting from. You can check to see if you have a profile under Settings > General. If you don't see a "Profile" listed there, there may be other factors.

How are you connected on each device? If the devices are connected to different cellular networks, or one is on cellular and one is on W-Fi, this could be a factor.

Also, this may help, from the article titled About the Weather app and icons on your iPhone and iPod touch :

Use the Weather app

The weather data used in the Weather app comes from The Weather Channel. If you have issues getting accurate weather information, tap the icon in the lower-left corner to go directly to the weather source.

I hope this is helpful!

Kind regards.
