I am unable to complete my subscription renewal for Norton Antivirus.why?

I need to renew my Norton Antivirus subscription thru ITunes for $29.99/year. My iOS is 12.1. I tried renewing many times but payment will not go thru.

You are in luck! You just saved $30 and a world of grief. No Anti-Virus software or so-called “cleaning” apps are needed or recommended for Mac OS. They can conflict with Mac's own built-in security. At best they will slow your Mac by using unnecessary resources and at worst will bork your entire system.

EDIT: iOS doesn't need it either.

So let me make sure I understand. . . The iOS 12 is on my IPhone 8. Unlike with an older IPhone I had a few months ago, antivirus protection for my banking, etc. requires no additional antivirus protection. I use Dashlane for all my passwords so I really want to ensure I'm safe.

iPhones cannot get infected or hacked unless jailbroken. Your older iPhone required no AV protection either.
