Getting link preview in Apple Notes

Drag and drop a link from a web page, or the browser address bar, onto a new note.

Thanks. Apparently it only works with Webkit browsers. Safari, Chrome. No workie with Firefox which is what I use 95% of the time.

Not at the moment. What the future holds remains to be seen.

It may be possible with Notes in Mojave 10.14.1.

I have the following Notes : Edit menu : Substitution settings:

And the hyperlink is now styled within Mojave's Notes application — as it is on High Sierra 10.13.6 too.

Interesting. I have all choices selected but I only get the link.

Might be more of an issue than just webkit, and may be how Firefox encodes content to the clipboard, and off again during the travel to Notes via drag/drop.

Could be. Webkit was a convenience. 😎

Something has to be selected first.
