Where are GarageBand instrument and loop files stored in Mojave OS?

In the same place as in the system versions before. Both GarageBand versions GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5 and GarageBand 10.3.1 are storing the sounds here - in the Library folder at he top level of the startup drive. If you saved custom instruments and loops, they may be in the corresponding folders in the Library folder in your Home folder.

  • /Library/Audio/Apple Loops/
  • /Library/Application Support/GarageBand
