so I sent notes from my android phone to my email, and took the notes from my email to my Apple iPhone. When i try to open the file up, it says ”unsupported file” please I need help. I really need these notes. email me someone, anyone

I would think the way to perform this task would be something like this:
Additionally, you mention "unsupported file." It's not at all clear how any file enters into your scenario. We would need a precise discussion of how a file is involved if the above does not solve your issue.
If you open the Notes app, do you see a less-than-sign (<) in the upper left? If so, tap it and look for a gmail folder there.
Also check Settings > Notes and be certain your default account is gmail. Turn off "On My iPhone" there if it happens to be on.

At worst, you can use a computer's web browser to go to gmail.com to actually read the notes in your email.
"Notes" appears in the leftmost panel - you have to scroll down to see it.

Where are these notes right now? Are they on the Android phone? In gmail? On a backup somewhere? Computer backup?
Surely you haven't deleted them without knowing they exist somewhere.
It sounds like the transfer process needs to be restarted, using some different method.
Ok, thanks for responding. I sent notes from my notepad on my Android to my Gmail account, when I got my iPhone I wanted to grab the notes from gmail and put them on to my notes on my iPhone, it’s not working. when I went to the library to access the desktop, it’s not even letting me view the notes there and I’m scared because this never happened to me, and I’m so upset I didn’t handle those notes better. I thought I was doing everything fine. When I try to bring the notes over to iCloud Drive, it says “Unsupported file” I need help.
The notes are all in one email on gmail. When I click to download them, it shows me where do I want to put them. If I click notes, it would just be a file there that I can’t click, it doesn’t break down to words. That I could copy and paste.
Yes they are attachments in the email, and they aren’t opening.
What should I do?
I’m a bit confused at visible form. Elaborate please and thank you.
I have to get on desktop, but there shouldn’t be any notes in my gmail,
I will continue to mess with them

Check Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Gmail and be certain the "Notes" button is set "On".

I suggest keeping iCloud Drive out of this process.
"try to bring the notes over ..." -- using what method? Over from what? Again, emailing them to the iPhone should be a start. Cutting and pasting into Notes may be part of the process. And understanding exactly where your Notes are housed on the iPhone is very important. Again, check Settings > Notes > Default Account. Click that "<" sign if you see it in Notes. Or if you see the name(s) of Note(s) folders, tell us what they are.

Well, I imagine the attachments are presented in some format proprietary to Google. It's time for a different approach.
Open gmail on a web browser.
Go to the Notes on the left panel.
Get the notes in a visible form.
Put them in an email ... not as any attachment.
Send that email to your iPhone.
Copy and paste the text into an iPhone note.
