Is anyone getting charged for purchases not made from candy crush saga?

Getting occasional charges and no text or email from my bank confirming charge on that day. Just a receipt from Apple today for a supposed charge 6 days ago.

Sounds to me like a phishing attempt and the email didn't even come from Apple. It's common for scammers to use a popular game like Candy Crush since so many people have it installed so they are more likely to believe the message is real. They want you to believe that you need to take action to get the charges reversed, and will supply a link to a site nearly identical to Apple's designed to get you to divulge personal information.


To look for elements in the email that might suggest phishing, and how to check if Apple really charged you, see "I got an email saying I bought something from the iTunes Store, but I didn't!"
