I can't update my apps and keep getting a notification that my Apple ID been disabled
I can't update my phone apps
It could be because of my apple id been disabled,

That's exactly the reason. You will have to un-disable your Apple ID before you can download anything from the App Store or iTunes store. See: If your Apple ID is locked or disabled - Apple Support and note that if going through the steps without success you need to contact Apple support using the link near the end of the tip.
