When adding PDFs to my notes.app I see that I only the first page comes is imported.

Working on a 13-inch MacBook Pro, High Sierra 10.13.6

Notes.app Version 4.5 (876.1)

I would like to bring in these pdfs and then delete them.

Hi CBColem,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that when you share a PDF to Notes on your Mac you're only seeing the first page of the PDF when you open the note. I can see why you'd reach out about this; I'm happy to help. If you choose to share a PDF from an app to Notes, it is expected that you will only see the first image of the PDF. If you double-click on the image within the note the file will open and you'll be able to view all pages of the PDF. You can also drag and drop PDF files into notes from your Desktop or Finder and it will show as a file you can open from the note you place it in.

Attach files, website previews, map locations, and more

  1. In the Notes app User uploaded file on your Mac, click a note in the notes list.

If you select a locked note, you can’t attach a video, audio file, PDF, or document to it.

  2. Do any of the following to add an attachment:

    • From the desktop: Drag a file into a note.

    • From your Photos library: Drag a photo directly from your Photos library into a note, or click the Media button User uploaded file, select Photos, find the photo or video, then drag it to the note.

    • Directly from your iPhone or iPad camera: Click the Media button User uploaded file, then select Take Photo or Scan Documents to take a picture or scan a document with your iPhone or iPad and insert it in your note. (Requires macOS Mojave or later and iOS 12 or later.) See Insert photos and scans with Continuity Camera.

    • From within another app, like Maps, Safari, Photos, and more: Click the Share button User uploaded file, then choose Notes.

The Share button User uploaded file doesn’t appear in all apps.

You can also select some text or images, Control-click your selection, then choose Share > Notes.

To change how large an image, sketch, scanned document, or PDF attachment appears in a note, Control-click the attachment, then choose View as Large Images or View as Small Images. You can’t change how large inline drawings appear in notes.

Attach photos, links, and more in Notes on Mac

Best Regards.
