Running latest 10.14.1 on Macbook but still cannot find the add attachment logo...

Images on Mac Desktop displaying as Images Preview Icon My mac desktop used to display images. I updated to Monetery. This is what is happening now. Some display as images while others are showing as a Imagine preview icon and then open to the image which is not helpful. And, images that I had in a document file are displaying in this fashion as well. Suggestions?

Finder preview not working I bought a new Macbook M1 Pro and the Finder preview is not working. I can't preview the images within the Finder by clicking the spacebar. HELP!
