Increase VRAM allocation

I just bought a new mac mini 2018 a really powerful machine.

However apple should really consider changing the allocation logic of VRAM which is capped at 1.5 GB once you reach 8GB RAM.

Surely adding a few GB for a 16 or 32 GB machine is not going to hurt and final cut pro would benefit

I even bought a blackmagic eGPU but it does not perform that well so I returned it

When will apple review this setting that is seriously limiting the performance of an otherwise excellent machine??
