Have problem using Netflix

Safari 12 no longer supports the Silverlight extension that let you view Netflix before. Macs made about 2012 and later can use HTML5 to view videos without the need for extensions. Older ones like yours cannot. As Eric says, try a different browser.

Your equipment profile says you are running OS 10.9 Mavericks. It that still true?

Try another browser as a test.

Firefox 10.9 or higher

Waterfox 10.8 or higher

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

all of my videos are suddenly going to screensaver - only in safari. I am using mohave and the latest safari
