Pages on iPad - open encrypted document with password?

I have an encrypted Pages document on iCloud Drive. Usually I can open it on my iPad with Touch ID but sometimes this isn't possible. On a Mac I can open it with the password. Is there a way to open it on an iPad with the password instead of Touch ID? (The person who needs to view the document may not have their fingerprint registered on the iPad. )

I tried going to iCloud in Safari on iPad but that doesn't work.

A Pages document on iCloud that is password protected with a password I added to the keychain; all that done from the iMac. I activated keychain on the iPad (settings > myID > iCloud > Keychain (set to on) . However, when I attempt to open the document on the iPad, I still need to manually enter the document password. Encryption algorithm and key length for IOS Pages encrypted documents After reading the article About the security content of Pages 6.1, Numbers 4.1, and Keynote 7.1 for Mac and Pages 3.1, Numbers 3.1, and Keynote 3.1 for iOS – Apple Support (UK), I couldn't figure out the encryption algorithm and key length used for password protected documents in IOS Pages. Can anyone help?

Pages Password A person shared a Pages document with me, but I can't open it. It asks for a password. I have never had to open a Pages document with a password before. What is the problem?
