Activity sharing not working on new Apple Watch

I just bought the apple watch series 4 today for me and my husband. His works perfectly fine, but I noticed in my activity app, I am unable to see the actiVities of the people I used to share with. It shows their info on my phone, but not on my watch. I have unpaired and re-paired my watch 3x and restarted both watch and phone. Everything is up to date with regards to ios and watch app. What should I do? I still have my old apple watch but I unpaired that already.

Try to delete the contact from competition tab. Then send them a new request. I've done that and it seems to work

I’m having the same issue, since getting the series 4. Deleting and re-adding hasn’t worked for me, everything is up to date, phone resets, watch resets, everything.

I don’t know what the fix is, but the only issue I have is the activity app as well not sharing data correctly.

Same to you on a solution! I’ve talked to Apple support on 3-4 separate occassions, all suggesting the same steps as the person before. I feel like it has to be a software glitch that needs addressed. It can’t be that there are that many random watches that just choose to not work.
