I cant update itunes

My mac is version 10.9.5

I just got an iphone 8 i cant update itunes and sync it to my phone. Can none help me?

iTunes issue I'm using MacPro late2013the issue when i connect iphone to it using Itunes, message appears to me (To use your iPhone with iTunes, you need to install OS X 10.11.4 (or later). i downloaded 10.11.4 but i couldn't install it bcz it required 10.11 OS version i don't know what should i do knowing that I'm using currently 10.10.5

iOS 12 requires iTunes 12.8 or better running on OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan or better. See How to upgrade to OS X El Capitan - Apple Support to see in updating your machine is feasible. If not you could consider Apple Music or iTunes Match for music and iCloud for backup and document transfer.
