"Installation Failure" of Mojave 10.14.1

MacBookPro Software update from Mojave 10.14 to 10.14.1 failed. Cannot install software update despite numerous attempts. Keep receiving notification of "Software Update" but when I try to install, receive "Installation failed" message. Have run Disk Utility, no probelms found and I had no problem when originally installing Mojave 10.14 when it became available. We had internet issues recently which may have interrupted the original installation(?) of Mojave update but now I seem stuck in a loop.
