Safari reloads current page instead of loading new website

Hi,

since I updated to Mojave, Safari sometimes keeps on reloading the current page instead of loading the typed-in. I have to type it in several times to load a new website.

I made a video so you can see what I mean but I can't attach it here, so I made some screenshots.

Anyone knows a solution to this?

1. Screenshot: Current website is apple.com. I'm typing in "google.at".

2. Screenshot: I already pressed return and Safari starts loading "google.at".

3. Screenshot: Just during the loading process, as seen by the blue loading bar, Safari changes "google.at" to "apple.com" and reloads the current page.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Safe Mode - About

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
