Safari Address bar on latest version 12.0.1

Hello everybody,

Since I updated to the latest version of Safari.. I have a very annoying issue. When I type quickly in the address bar of Safari and then hit "Enter" it refreshes the current page instead of going to the desired page. Then I need to go back into the "Address Bar" and start typing everything from the beginning .. slowly.

It's the same issue on MacOS High Seirra and MacOS Mojave. ( I have 2 Macs)

Anybody faced that issue?

Does that happen if you boot into the Safe Mode?
