How Do I Download Safari 12?

I can't find a Safari 12 download anywhere.

* No updates listed in the App Store.

* Searching the App Store for "Safari" doesn't find it.

* Apple web page about Safari doesn't include a download link. Safari - Apple

* Apple Support / Downloads page refers me to the the App Store. Update or reinstall Safari for your computer - Apple Support

* MacUpdate Safari 12 page redirects to Apple's page about Safari 12, which doesn't include a download link.

Your profile shows you are using 10.12.5. If that is true, try updating to 10.12.6. Even if you are using 10.12.6, running the combo update can't hurt.

Try running the combo update. It installs all previous updates plus the new one, which can replace any files that may have become corrupted.

Backup and reinstall macOS. Latest version of relevant macOS should include latest version of Safari.

Check Safari version installed.

Then for available updates, search Mac App Store/Updates.

Hello, thanks for your answer but I can't upgrade to Mojave. Safari 12 is supported by my current system MacBook Air with Sierra so Im not sure why it seems the download is unavailable.

There was also a recent thread that is closed now suggested re-indexing spotlight which did not solve my problem.
