MacBook Pro 13" 2018 Black Screen issue

Hi, I recently bought the new MacBook Pro 2018 13" with Touch Bar and i5 processor/8gb/256gb. Today I noticed that when I slide the brightness to zero (I slide the Touch Bar control of brightness all the way down) the screen blacks out while the computer is still running.


I do not know if this is an intended feature, but I assume it's some kind of software issue.


PS. I run the latest version of Mojave

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS Mojave (10.14.1)

Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service. If you need to find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple. If you did not purchase it from Apple then you will need to look to the vendor for service or How to find your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) or Distributor (AAD).
