My wife's older mini running 9.3.5 software. has issue is when I open the app to update all apps it asks for a password for an ID I haven't used in years. Her iPhone, iPad, iTunes(on PC) all work ok. I have tried to reset main ID password and no change. How do I remove the ID or correct it?

Check the purchases history of your current ID to see what app isn't in your current account.
Note: Content from one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
Apps/Music/books downloaded are forever tied to that Apple ID.
