Dual Display question - Mouse direction??

Hi,
I am trying out the dual display mode on my iMac intel core 2 duo. I currently have my second monitor to the left of main screen. When I want to move my pointer on to the second display, I have to go to the right on the main screen(pointer then appears on the left of the second screen).
This is obviously counter-intuitive, is there a way to change the direction of movement so that I can move to the left on the main, and have the pointer start right to left on the second display(hopefully this is explained properly).
And no, it won't work to put the second display on the right of the main(desktop workspace problem).
thanks

BTW, the second display is wonderful with Aperture!

I lived the very same situation, go to System preferences, Displays, Arrangement. Drag the blue square on the right to the left and you are done.
The square with the white bar on top represents the main display, the one which will have the top bar menu. You can also drag and drop it to the other monitor if you want.
