Hi,
In addition to my precedent post about IO fan interruptive functioning,
discovered today that there's a red LED lighting up at start up - please find picture attached.
I also took the whole fan ensemble out (front fan), checked connections and cleaned them.
Seems to delay a bit the malfunction, but still going to 0 and making noise.

Could be something as simple as bad RAM or something more serious

suppose you could try blowing out the dust around the cpu's (they should be surrounded by aluminum fins)

I've completely cleaned the Mac one month ago, with air and vacuum cleaner.
And the diagnostic Leds are ok.
I've also checked all RAM 2 by 2, nothing bad.
The only Led lighting up is the one on the picture.
Now, the fan makes noise after about an hour, not immediately, but still have this Led near the Airport card turning red.
