I got a 6 month free subscription to Apple Music thru Verizon. I have 3 other family members on my plan. Verizon says after 6 months each line will cost $9.99/mo, but Apple says the Family plan would be one monthly charge of $14.99. How do I get everyone on one plan? All are in my iTunes family.
I had the same question and discovered that you cannot sign up for the family plan on Apple while the 6 month trial is still active through Verizon. I'll wait until the trial is over then switch over. It's frustrating that configuring the Family Sharing requires an Apple device. Of course, the adults in our family have android / PC and the kids have IPhone / Mac.

I think you would just subscribe to the Apple Music family plan through Apple at $14.99/month at the end of your free 6 months with Verizon Apple Music and then cancel your Verizon Apple Music subscription. As long as you use the same Apple ID you should retain all your playlists etc. It may be important to first subscribe to the family plan before cancelling the Verizon plan - note, I am not Apple support or Verizon support, I am just somebody responding to your question. I want to do the same thing.
