How to change from US Store to AUS store without spending the money I already had on Apple ID?

I recently accidentally changed from AUS iTunes Store to the US ITunes Store. I went into Apple ID and tried to change my region and cancelled my Apple Music subscription. I tried using my remaining $36 in a game but it wouldnt let me use the money and I don’t want to spend my money on anything else (as I was going to use it for Apple Music) How do i get back to the AUS Store?

Is that US$36 in the US store, or Aus$36 in the Australian Store? See Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support. It shouldn't be possible to change regions while you have store credit or active subscriptions but it seems that occasionally following a link to an item in the wrong store can achieve this. Try signing out of the store, then follow a link to an item in the correct store to see if that will take you in. E.g. The Doors on iTunes (Aus).
