Does need to activate the Kaspersky security extension ?

I would uninstall Kapersky. Its tends to interfere with the computer's operation while providing minimal to no benefit unless you work with Windows files. Most long time posters recommend not using antivirus software or cleaning software such as CleanMyMac.

My recommendation is that Kaspersky not be installed on your Mac. It is a piece of junk which offers no protection on the Mac and only causes problems in the long run.

Kaspersky anti-malware products are not needed. Buying it is supporting Russia. If you need Internet security protection get VPN software instead. I have had very positive results using TorGuard.
