Transfer playlist FROM iPhone to iTunes

I update my playlists on my iPhone 6 IOS 12.1 often but when I sync my phone with my Mac it reverts my playlists to the last time I synced. Is there any easy and free way to transfer my updated playlists on my phone to iTunes. If it's not available free, what's the best too to use?

iPhone 6, iOS 12.1, MacOS Mojave 10.14
