Epson Printer not printing data

I upgraded my software to macOS Mohave 10.14.1 the other day. Everything appeared to be ok but now my Epson XP-420 and Epson XP-430 printers will not print. It shows the print job being sent to the printers but the jobs just sit there. I have updated the drivers and tried both direct cable connect and air play. I even powered down the router but nothing changes.

What could be the problem ?

Thanks for your help.

There was both a firmware update and printer driver update for your printers in 2018. Epson’s support page says the latest drivers are compatible with Mojave. Are you current with both firmware and driver updates?

You might also try resetting the printer system and reinstalling your printers. Open the Printer preference panel and right-click or control click in the printer list on the left. Select reset.
