iTunes ejects optical drive on windows 10 laptop when exited. Everything is updated. Can’t find anything is settings. Dose it every time, except for when the drive is empty. Normal there is a game disc in there.
I also have this issue. It's so frustrating that I am thinking of not using my itunes. My pc is Win7 (all updated) and it doesn't seem to matter if there is a cd/dvd in the optical drive or not. Every time I exit the programme, the drive door opens. And if I am shutting down (with itunes open), the optical drive door is open until I turn the computer back on.
Is there a solution for this? It's really annoying, especially when I am playing a DVD using another program and close iTunes.
This appears to be the new normal. Use Feedback - iTunes - Apple to let Apple know you'd like them to change it back.
