Issue with attachments in Mail

Hi

Product: ipad Pro 12.9 w/ iOS: 12.1

Application: iCloud on Device

Issue:

1) I sent pictures from my mail account on MacBook Pro (10.14.1 MacOs Mojave) to the same mail account on my iPad Pro

2) Email received on iPAd Prod mail shows attachment icon in summary column; but in main body there is no way to download the attachment and the icon for the attachment is a small outlined square (unable to interact with the square (same issue on my iPhone (iphone 7 iOS12.1) but not an issue on my MacBook Pro)

3) If I forward the email then the attachment becomes visible in the forwarded email but is not savable

4) If I go to iCloud .com I can see the attachment and download it with no issues.

Any ideas?
