Overdrive app from library not compatible with Mojave.

I keep getting the following error message when I try to transfer an audiobook from Overdrive to my

iPod touch.

iTunes Error

"iTunes is not responding. Please bring iTunes to the front and check its status."

I've tried uninstalling everything and re-installing. Everything is up to date.

No luck.

Help please!
