I don’t want to upgrade to Mojave yet after all

Background: i’m waiting on Mojave and ignore the reminders in notifications but yesterday by mista i clicked “install now”. I did not proceed because I don’t want to yet.

Question: when I turn on the computer and log in today will it automatically install Mojave? How can make sure it doesn’t install against my will?

I’m sure I sound like an idiot but I generally know what I’m doing. I wish Apple would offer a “stop reminding me” options on the OS upgrade notifications.

Thanks for any advice. I just don’t want to inadvertently indtall before I’m ready.

If you quit the installer before it finished it will not start on it's own. You would have to dbl-click it's icon. If it's still open, just quit it from its menu or press "command + Q".
