Frequency range of iPhone

Hello, I'm trying to find the frequency specs for the iPhone Taptic Engine. I would like to know the range of frequency at which it vibrates at. My hope is to configure an amplifier to the iPhone to amplify the sound and make it act as my point of excitation for an experiment.

Also, is there a way to manually activate the vibration of an iPhone for this type of use? I have a 5s so I'm not caught up on what I can and can't do on the latest versions.
