duplicate workouts apple activity app

• Today I went for a swim with my Apple Watch.
• Afterward, it uploaded to my iPhone as well as to Strava via a 3rd party exporter called HealthFit (Strava doesn't allow direct import of workouts from the native Apple Watch for some reason, thus the need 3rd party exporter).
• The swim appears just fine in Strava, as well as my native Apple Health app. The "workout" is not duplicated in the Apple Health app, nor should it be
• My Apple Watch activity rings (and the corresponding Activity App on the iPhone), however, DO show duplicate workouts. In fact, it shows 3 workouts for this example.
• The priority list for my "Workouts" sources are shown below (#1 Apple Watch, #2 Elemnt, #3 Strava)
• The duplicate Strava ones are probably Strava's fault, but why show any of the Strava "workouts" when they are for the same data, and when Strava is #3 in priority? It's not duplicated in Health, so why is it duplicated in Activity?
