No headphones jack in iPad Pro - so how do I monitor Mic input?

I recently bought an iPad Pro, and it’s great - but the lack of headphones jack is causing me headaches in GarageBand.

Specifically - if I monitor microphone input using Bluetooth headphones, there’s a huge delay - which makes it impossible to record in sync with the other tracks.

I purchased an adaptor that splits the USB C port to a USB C input and a headphones input - but the iPad doesn’t recognise it.

Has Apple any plans to release an authorised adaptor that does this job? Or what is the official line on how to monitor in GarageBand over Bluetooth without huge latency delays?

I cant help, but hopefully it will help some that I have posted the same question here and on Mac Garageband but regarding the input jack too. The same problem. These designers have some type of obsession with bluetooth. Its useless. We need our phones AND input jacks back. Not just on the iOS devices, but the computers, too!!! By the time you mess with all these adapters, they either dont work, or even worse, if they do, the latency kills everything. What good is my stratocaster if I cant plug it in to the ipad, or into my computer? They have gotten so ahead of themselves with USB-C, they forgot about us. $1000 phones, $1200 ipads and $2000 mac minis you cant use. Eliminate the jacks, make the device CHEAPER and useless, sell if for more $, and leave us along the side of the road No wonder wall $treet is downgrading Apple daily. (:<(
