Hi all,
I tried running Apple diagnostic (bootup hold onto D key). But it only shows a blank white screen after I hear the Chime sound.
What is going on? Please advice.
Device: iMac 24" (Late 2012)

Thanks for the help. So it seems my Mac is older model and requires to run Apple hardware test instead (option + D).

Your Late 2012 27” (not 24”) iMac uses the Apple Hardware Test not Apple Diagnostic. Try running AHT over the internet by holding Option-D at startup How to use Apple Hardware Test on your Mac - Apple Support
What is going on with your iMac that is requiring you to run diagnostics?
I have been using my Mac for 6years. Just like to run some test, that’s all.
