Import .CR3 raw files

Do you want to import .CR3 raw image files into Aperture? Aperture is no longer supported and if you have a newer camera like the Canon EOS M50 you cannot import raw files. Move the files to your computer and then use Adobe DNG Converter to convert the .CR3 files to a more standard RAW format that Aperture can read.

Aperture 3, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Or use Photos for Mac to convert the RAW files to TIFF:

Canon EOS M50 is supported by macOS 10.14 Mojave (Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 12 and macOS Mojave - Apple Support), so you can develop it in the Photos for Mac application and convert the files to TIFF, but Aperture is stuck on the RAW Support available with macOS 10.11 El Capitan and Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.17.
