Please help. Large X in top left corner of home screen

so on my home screen only... i have this weird large X in the top left corner. it only appears when im on the home screen and goes away if i go into any app, sarafi, etc...can someone please help me or provide insight( iPhone 10 Max)

i have tried a hard restart

- I tried restoring phone through iTunes thinking that would fix

-I tried wiping phone and restoring again. Nothing works at this point.

Any my help or advise would be great.
