how to send contacts from MacBook Pro to iphone8?

Contacts have been added and some updated on the MacBook Contacts. How do I send this new work to the iphone8? Mac is running Mojave 10.14.1 and iPhone has IOS 12.1.

The Contacts would have to be in iCloud in order to sync, or, if you are not using iCloud for Contacts, you would have to sync them via iTunes.


Make sure Contacts is turned on under Settings>your name>iCloud on the iOS device and that it is turned on under System Preferences>iCloud on the Mac.


Also make sure that the Contacts you are trying to sync are under the iCloud section in the Groups view.
